Thanks to you fine folks, I made my purchase...
Without further ado, I went with a new X-PRO Templar M in black. I'm pretty darn excited about it too. (I ordered it unassembled; the carrier just called and said it should be here Monday afternoon.) I've already ordered a universal Baja Designs Auxiliary Light Kit for it just to always keep my vehicle customizing bug alive on the very day I begin. LOL!
I've got lots of things to learn from you all. I'm looking forward to it, and becoming a contributing member as well here. I join all forums related to my vehicles and strive to always be active. Other than that, my name is Eric. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA and now (for almost a couple of decades) live in Orlando, Florida, USA. My current vehicle list looks like this...

Yes. M will work
Guilty as charged. We aim to please. You will not be sorry. And the black and grey is a beast Besides jetting and a valve check, you won't really have to do much. LOVE that 172FMM-3A engine. Have fun!

And thank you much. To be honest, I believe a lot of the early research I did before making my purchase, and becoming a member here, featured your feedback. |

Curious, what led you to choose the M in particular other the other two Templars?

I have to admit I have the tiniest twinge of regret not going with the Templar. It may be my second bike. :-)

That Baja Designs lighting system is going to light up the trail. All led so should not be a significant drain on the stator/regulator.
My son wants me to put his Storm on Craigslist. He saved up and ready to buy the M. He doesn't need adjustable suspension but likes the cradle frame on the M and X and all of the SS fittings and upgrades. He also likes the 172FMM 5 speed engine. I'll clean up the Storm for him and get it posted. The amazing thing is that the Storm cost $1500 in Winter 2020, and the Templar M is $100 more, 3 years later.

Welcome. I'm north of Pittsburgh. Used to be a member of Teamsters 249. The hall was in Lawrenceville(sp?). Unfortunately, the only thing I make it into da Burgh for these days is hospitals.
Also used to live in Key Largo.
