Today I bought six pounds of pork country style ribs, and I’m currently waiting another 3 hours for them to finish on the smoker. The smoker is tuned to a cozy 225, powered by a combo of Oak, and Pear. Alongside the ribs, a tray of beans, and a tray of diced potatoes to help fill the gut. On the sweet side, I’ll add a blackberry cobbler in there in about an hour, and I’ll rinse this all down with some fresh sweet tea. It’s no wonder the numbers on my bathroom scale always go up in December……..

Just drink lots of coffee on your trip. I rode one of those home for a friend of mine, roughly 120 miles. He was given one from a family member who had passed, and he had never ridden a motorcycle before! Long story short, that damn thing rode so cozy I actually caught myself getting VERY sleepy. I never felt a bump, even on rougher roads, and cruise control made me quite lazy. 30 miles from home, I even stopped and downed a Red Bull to wake up, and I can't stand energy drinks. She will literally float you down the road!

Today, I bought some peace and quiet. My neighbors to the direct south of me (the side of the house where I also sleep), have a grown adult dog that has no way of knowing how, or when, to shut up. He is a certified Mutt mix, hyper active, and barks more hours than a day contains. His owners are elderly, and very hard of hearing, so I am guessing this is no issue to them..... based on the fact this little bastard has lived there over 2 years now. He stays outside, and at night it becomes so bad my beagle looks at me in the house as if he is begging me to make it stop. Yes, many an idea have crossed my mind on how to handle this, but as of this morning, I finally discovered the solution........

3 new chew toys from the Dollar General pet lane. Little shit hasn't made a peep since. I guess it's kinda like a whimpering baby, as we use a binky to silence the noisy spot. I see a new chew toy every week if need be to continue the peace..... Who knows, might even make a new buddy outta the deal, too. I gladly pay a dollar a week for sanity....

Didn’t buy anything, but my son test drove a new Tesla today.
Maybe he test drove a Tesla, because none of the other new car dealers around here have any new cars on their lots.
