Hawk 250 Kickstart lever options?
Hey there folks. I tried grinding my lever a little to bring it in but ground off a little too much so its a bit loose and flopping around. Thinking about trying to glob on a weld to push the lever in towards the engine but my welding is very very globby.
Besides a stock replacement has anybody found a decent kick lever? I have found a lot of votes to remove it but my bikes battery has been dead for months and I am pretty happy its easy enough to kick over. |

You may be able to make a washer from a piece of rubber, or leather, and shim it at it's joint, or just have a friend weld it.

Some people here just remove them all together. I am a little hesitant to do that, but I'm starting at my suzuki gs1100 right now and thinking it doesn't have a kickstarter and it works just fine... and so does my atv. Just saying...
