Clutch basket play
Im chasing a problem with shifting. I pulled right cover and from what i can tell everything working as needed. When i was shifting i could see clutch basket moving alot. Anyone have trouble with then loose or are they suppose to float. Are they bushing or bearing style. What is torque on them?

To be honest, it isnt much to go off of. This is one of those situations where a video of what you are describing would say a lot more.
Also, iirc, these use a bushing instead of a roller bearing.

There must be a play in clutch basket, if the engine design of your bike is similar to mine. Please, make a video of the play. My clutch has a lot of play.

The shaft bearing behind the clutch could be going bad.

the basket usaly runs on a bronze bush as it only rotates free of the hub if the clutch pulled in... at any other time the basket and hub rotate as one unit as they are connected by the clutch plates and springs... ..
