Why?
Can someone tell me why these Chinese bikes chain adjuster thingy is upside down with the engraved alignment lines facing down to the road? I tried flipping them the right side up but you can't because it's off centered. It's almost like someone welded the swing arm "arms" on upside down when putting it in the welding jig. ??????? rj

Just guessing....the axle rests on the arms and the indicators ride along. If it was the other way, the indicator takes the weight, gouging the arm during movement. They may get 'cocked' also.
It's strange that most CB's are based on Hondas but the box style swing arms are often found on Suzukis.

I'll look again tomorrow but I didn't see any circles or lines on top of swing arm. I'll post a close up pic of how mine are tomorrow, rj

I align the rear wheel by the chain. I have the Motion Pro tool. Before that, once I set the proper chain slack, I would measure the distance from the adjuster to the end of the arm on the chain side. Then I would set the other side the same.
