motorcycle license test
OK I have been riding now for about 32 years and today I finally got my license using my csc tt250. It handled that test very well. What kinda bikes have you used to take this test

I too had ridden most of my life without one. I ended up taking the test on Mrs. 2LZ 2002 Sporty. My '74 Ironhead chopper wasn't the bike of choice for that course at the time. ;-)

I was on a Suzuki DR200 that had clutch and brake issues... the Mrs. took it on an old Kawasaki twin cylinder cruiser... can't remember what she said it was but she didn't like it compared to her Bashan 200 Dual Sport, said the Kawasaki was "too heavy, wasn't fast enough, and didn't handle as well" compared to her China Bike

Riding Test
When I applied for my motorcycle license in 1974 there was a written test and a riding test at that time. I rode my Honda Elsinore 250cc two stroke. Perfect bike for a maneuvering course.

Yamaha FZ600, and a poor choice. It was almost at full lock to make the circles leaving almost no room for error. I got reprimanded for speed, but as I pointed out to the disgruntled DMV worker, there's no speed limit on the test so I passed. Strangely there's also no wheelie or skidding rules written in, at least there weren't before I took the test.

first time on a Kawasaki zx6r. - second time years later in different state on Kawasaki versys. I'm always amazed at the guys on the 900 lb cruisers doing the course, doesn't look fun.

I took the Harley basic course using a 500-lb. HD Street 500.

I took the test on my trusty '78 TS100, way back in 1984. I still have that bike.

Illinois mandated a test in 1983 or 4. I took my test on an AJS Model 14 (250cc) that I owned at the time.
