JT 428 chain / Bashan Storm 250
I just installed a JT 428-130 chain on my Bashan Storm 250 and it made a huge difference in performance. I would change out the stock chains to something aftermarket as soon as possible. This is not an o-ring chain, as it was all I could afford at the moment. At least now I don't feel like I am going to break down now. Also I installed a 130 link vs a 128 link (which is what the bike came with).

Yep got those stickers. I couldn't swing the $60 or so for the RK o-ring, so next service I will up grade.

I have never used an o-ring chain. I just keep them clean, lubed and adjusted. A poor quality chain will stretch and cause premature wear to your sprockets. If a chain breaks or comes off of a sprocket it can lock up your rear wheel and take a chunk out of your engine case.

I have a Unibear® 428H on mine. It is as tight as the day I put it on, no adjustment since I put it on.

FYI to all wanting O-Ring Chains. You can get the Niche 428 Drive Chain 130 Links O-Ring With Master Link for $31.95 with free shipping. Different link choices are available. Hope this helps someone.

I've been running a JT chain on my street bike for years. No signs of wear on it and unlike some of my friends aftermarket chains, no signs of rust or corrosion.

JT chains and sprockets are awesome, I’m on my 6th or 7th and only issue in the 3.5 years is one weak quick link did fall off in traffic. I’ve noticed theirs don’t exactly snap into place as you can install them bare hands. Otherwise great stuff at fair prices.

On my Magician, I put close to 2,000 miles on the original chain, but I was lucky and adjusted it often. I replaced it with a DID x-ring chain, and I haven't adjusted it once after nearly 1, 000 miles.

Gauge clusters
What gauge clusters are you guys swapping in? My storm is en route and I’m trying to get the things already. Also is there an exhaust? I’ll post about this too but you all seem to have modded storms
