If you passed Lee, he must have been temporarily stopped.

I have found that once I get to top speed WOT if I back off the throttle just a bit the engine changes from "working hard" to "humming", without losing much speed.

This tactic also improves fuel mileage.

Anybody burning holes in their everyday pants on the header pipe above the RH foot peg? I've toasted 3 pairs and this Sunday burnt my Sunday go to meeting pants. So I made a little heat shield to hopefully stop my floppy pants from blowing over onto the hot exhaust. My regular riding pants don't blow around like regular pants that I run around town during the week with. Kinda reminds me of earlier days getting my pants caught in the chain of my bicycle the kind you have to pedal. Anyone remember those? rj

Rjm... I remember getting my sears huskey jeans caught in that chain, then having the grease on the pant leg.
Sometimes when you're a man it's okay to wear stretchy pants.

If you wore a hole in the knee, you had your mom bring them back and you got a free pair. We didn't want to, it was like a badge of honor! That probably was a prototype Kevlar fabric that they tried on kids first, now that I think about it. |
