bashan
What are riders general thoughts on the bashan 250? I see apscusa has bashan now offered on their website. Whats interesting about bashan is their WMI is LHJ which is listed on the NTHSA. this is significant when trying to register a motorcycle in difficult states.

How do you know those are made by Bashan? You meant the Blaze, as they call it? This one?
http://www.apscusa.com/New-2015-Blaz...le-_p_557.html It doesn't look like the Bashan's I've seen online recently. Thanks, Jon

I called the sales guy Donald and asked him to get me a VIN. the VIN started with LHJ. He said this is a new offering by apscusa, I'm assuming that is why the web data is so light.

I see that LHJ is for Bashan motorcycles. You'll see threads here about the Bashan 250 Storm, but it comes with inverted forks, disk brakes front and rear, and an 18" front wheel I believe. The Storm seems to have a pretty good reputation from owners here. But, this bike, from the website you gave, has almost no information and just one photo for each color, all in the same position. Comes with a nice looking rack. The rear drum brake doesn't bother me. It looks like it might be the 229cc counterbalanced engine as used in the Storm model. I like this bike. I was going to buy a Hawk 250 (229), but can't seem to find out if any have been sold to Hawaii residents. I think the Bashan bhas a very high chance of having some sold and licensed here.
