AGB 36 - 2013 Apollo 250 RX 4 stroke muffler
AGB 2013 Apollo 250 RX 4 stroke
** Hi everyone. Purchased this bike locally from a guy for $700. I am trying to locate a baffle for the muffler it was missing. Also trying to locate the chain guard looks like it's missing also. I was able to find the relay for the electric start which went bad I believe it just makes a weird noise sometimes when trying to use it. Looking for a pair of handle bars too the ones are bent slightly. I am a newbie when it comes to China bikes and this is acually my first dirt bike period. Any help would be appreciated. Your Apollo bike is very nice. Very popular with lots of sales for a China bike and lots of good reviews. Typical two complaints are it is very tall, sits up too high at just over 36" and it is geared very low. Don't know how to fix the height but swapping the very inexpensive sprockets easily fixes the gearing.

According to http://www.epa.gov/oms/cert/document...mc-atv-utv.xls , it's a 223 (MD33 clone) which = http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=35517374143
=== The bigger bore Zongshen http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13912286974 barrel is shorter ...

Is there any American sites to order simple replacement parts that's I'm looking for? Handle bars, spark assertor, battery, hand grips, plastic kit?

Thanks. I'v tried some stuff on the rocky mountain ATV site but i get nervous because I can't find an exact match. Like my handle bars for example. I'm finding some that are 7/8" diameter every where but when I measure mine I get 13/16".

Your bars are 7/8".
Plastics (other than a front fender) will be a little tough to find. You're not likely to find the spark arrestor, so you might consider just buying an aftermarket muffler and clamping it on.

I have no problem with an aftermarket parts I just trying to avoid getting something then it not fitting. I guess its just a learning experience. I did find a muffler on ebay that the end cap looked identical so i was just going to rivet it on the muffler I have now and buy a spark arrestor insert. I needed a pair of hand grips anyway so if this doesnt work its not a total loss.

That looks worthwhile. Nice bike, BTW.
While you're shopping, a spring loaded shifter is a wise investment.

I suggest measure the battery box 1st
--- HERE says it's a "wet" 12V 9Ah (Yuasa YB9-B ). U can upgrade it to AGM/ gel / Li-Fe that're similar in size/ CCA rating/ terminal poistion

Cool bike. Looks very much like my own Baja 250, chassis-wise. Looks to have a different motor, though.
http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=14757 What's your fuel capacity? Mine is only 0.8 gallons, and with your perimeter-style frame, it might be suitable as an 'upgrade' for me. |
