Weird situation
Hello everyone ,
I have a gio 250cc ,x31, 2007 Well the bike always overheated , I checked yesterday the oil and yes, it was black and burned. So I replaced the oil ( 1 liter ) And now when I want to start it doesn't let me . Nothing wrong with the air filter , I just replaced for brand new one. the carb is fine , I cleaned at on the morning . I guess the plug is weak or maybe doesn't work , am I right? But if its true , so how that can happen , when changing oil it's tuff for the plug to start the engine ? Thank you! |

Is it still using the stock plug? If so, try an NGK D8EA. They're cheap.

Fuel compression and spark is what you need. If you are sure you have fuel and compression then spark may be your issue. A new plug is probably your easiest option.

Actually what a coincidence , i bought the same spark plug . But i found what that is not the spark plug it self. when i changed the oil i guess i overfilled oil . 1 put 1 liter of 10w40 inside , and it was a way more then the high mark. Well while I'm trying to start the engine when i push the kick start , it seems that it's going almost with no Resistance, and that why the spark plug doesn't work. Over filled oil can cause any damage? Well if that is the problem , how i can fix it ? Another question please : i didn't changed the oil for a while and it was black and burned , that is the reason why the engine + the exhaust were so hot ? less then 5 min and it start to melt everything around. thank you ! |
