Spark Plug Change
I changed the Spark Plug on my Lifan LF200GY-5 at 2900 KM's. The original plug looked fine, but I had read some other posts saying that their bike seemed to run better with another plug.
My bike came with an NHSP #D8TC. This cross referenced to an NGK #D8EA and a Champion # RA6HC. I went with the Champion, mainly because it was on the shelf at my local WalMart. I haven't really noticed much change, except maybe the bike starts a little easier. I found the following website which is great for cross referencing plugs: http://www.sparkplugs.com/ |

I have the NGK, but I changed it and the oil and dropped the clip on the carb needle all at the same time.
Hard to say if it changed anything. Allen

My 07 GY-5 came with the NGK D8EA, if that means anything.

It means that either the chinese spent an extra 3 cents or your dealer prepped it with one.
