THe cyl head temp sensor was part of the Vapor unit. It is just a ring that replaces the washer on the spark plug. Bear in mind the location of the sensor. Right at the hottest part of the engine. Therefore the temps get on up there. Interestingly, when you get off the throttle after a bit of a run, the temp will shoot up 20 or 30 degrees. I guess it's the effect of leaning out the cylynder. Likewise, as you roll on the throttle to speed up, it will drop in temp.
I did see a difference when I increased the jet size but it was only in the recorded high temps that I saw the difference. Its kinda cool but if I was to do this all over again, I would get a bicycle computer and a hand held inferead thermometer that could be used for other things becides the bike. Temp of the Trail Tech?
I have an air cooled Xmoto 250. Does anyone know what the temperature settings should be? I usually see between 250 to 315 F. Is that too hot?
