13/54 setup
I was thinking about running a 13/54 sprocket setup for sand hill climbing here in the desert. I read a couple of forums in the honda world and they highly recommended it. Just wanted to know what ya'll think. I'm not really worried about top-end. Thanks.

That is pretty low, but should give you plenty of power in the sand. What do you have right now?

i'm running 15/54 right now. I just ordered the 13 and can't wait to see how it goes. I'm also thinking about gutting my muffler for more power. Any suggestions?

Your muffler looks just like mine. I took off the end-cap, and took out the spark arrestor. If you run it without the spark arrestor and cap it makes a difference. You'll get your exhaust away from the engine faster without those getting in the way.

Big,
13/54 may chew up your chain guide a bit more.. I posted a ratio page on here awhile ago, I'll see if I can find it...

sprocket ratio
13/54 is what you need. I have a 15/54 on my MX150 and I am going to put a 13 on the front as soon as I can find one. A Zongshen 13 tooth sprocket will fit my bike. Do u know where I can get one? Thanks Larry

Hmmmm... I have or can get just about any sprocket for these 200cc Dual Sport Chinese bikes, as long as it's made in the number of teeth that you need.
