New Brake Lights and now bike getting no power.
I went to put on the back off for my braking system for my klr 650, but while doing that now nothing seems to have power. I hooked it up he way it said then realized it wasnt working so played with the wires in the back by the brake light. Now im getting no power on the bike. It wont start or nor will the blinkers or anything come on. Im thinking the Battery might have died due to a short or something from my mech uninclined self. Any suggestions? 2008 kawasaki klr 650 thanks

I replaced the fuses and still no fire up or any power. Im thinking i might have done something to drain the power from the battery due to the fact that i cant get the blinkers or anything at all to come on. If any one knows wha the problem might be please help. Its my only mode of transpertation right now. I start school on Monday. :(

I got it guys!! I found out the fuse i was loooking at was goood by the starter relay. But go figure there was another fuse and the fuse i was loooking at was a spare. lol 8) So after taking the bike apart and checking wires i just changed the fuse and wam it got power and runs like she never lost a beat!!

I'm glad to hear that you solved it. It sure seemed perplexing.

now im having a problem. Some how now my bike it will get power and blinkers and lights work. But the bike wont start or try to kick over. I thought maybe now it might be the starter rely? But the guy at our motorcycle shop said its getting juice. So now im confused at why my bike is doing this. Maybe my wiring might have touched and did something?

By starter relay, do you mean solenoid? They can certainly fail. Is that what you mean?
