I need to make a decision between these three bikes help!
I need to make a decision between these three bikes and I need your help :!:
First the American Lifan LF200 GY-5 from MOTO Xtreme for $1,449.99, I was oringaly sold on this bike and I have heard alot of good things about MOTO Xtreme on this site. Second the Komoto 250cc-GY from Vbike for $1,349.99, I've also heard good things about Vbike on this site as well. Third the Hi Bird 250cc QH250 GY from Vbike for $1,179.99 The bike would be ridden around 20 miles a day, 6 miles of that would be highway and about two miles dirt road, the rest in town. Some of my worries are how reputable are the dealers, how hard is it getting parts, and how hard are the bikes to maintain. I really like the Lifan LF200 GY-5 but if I could get a bike with the same quality for a cheaper price then I would go for that. I would greatly appreciate any input from you guys; this is a great site with a lot of good information. Thanks, Noah |

Noah, what state you in?
Registering it should be high on your list too. All three seem to have proven themselves as good bikes. Both of the dealers have proven themselves also here. I am not sure on the parts from vbike, but I believe them to be easy to get. All the bikes are simple to work on and all three would do your commute with ease. If I was to pick a bike from the list it would be the hibird 250. It offers the 250 with the simpler features or the conventional forks and rear drum brake. Also the lowest price. Allen

One more thing. Please avoid making duplicate posts. I saw you also posted the same thing in the DS forum.
Thanks, Allen

Sorry about the duplicate posts Allen  , just wanted to catch as many eyes has I could.
I live in Missouri, they told me all I need is the MSO and a bill of sale to get the bike registered. The Hi Bird seem like a great deal I was just worried it was to good to be true. Thanks, Noah |

No problem. Vbike is in OK so you may be able to drive down to pick it up and save yourself some time and money.
Missouri seems to be an easy state. Allen

I've heard nothing but good things about both of these dealers and how they've come through for their customers.. As far as the bikes go, they are all just about the same as are most China D/S's, little differences here and there. The 250 sounds like the biggest bang for the buck and we're starting to see alot more of them on this site.. Basically it all boils down to personal preference and price.. Good luck with your purchase and dont forget to read the bike prep thread...

It’s sounding more and more like the Hi Bird 250 is the way to go. What kind of gas mileage do u get with your Hi Bird kczukiman. I live in Nevada,MO which is about a 100 miles South of K.C.

I just got off the phone with Vbike.us and they said they were out of the Hi Bird 250 but they did have the Komoto 250 in and would sell it for $1250. Does anyone have experence with the Komoto 250 or know much about the quality.
Thanks, Noah |

Same as the hibird with inverted forks and rear disk brake. Otherwise identical.
That is a great price and you should take it. Allen
