hi from Lao PDR
Hi
I am British but I am currently living in Lao in SE Asia. Just bought a second hand 'Daytona TTK200' enduro Chinese bike. Its my first Chinese bike, my first bike of this style and myu first bike in Lao. I have had a 250 ninja and a Yamaha Aerox before. Hoping to get help and advice here and learn more about my bike. |

its about a year old, not sure of the details. my Thai/lao language skills kinda suck so it was hard to talk to the seller, but it seemed a solid bike for the price. Not even sure what cc the engine is TBH. The book says 150cc but the stickers say 200. they might have recorded it as a 150cc it to avoid tax. Its not fast, fastest I got out of it is just 103kph (just over 60mph) Defiantly a Honda CDI clone however been riding it a few months now, mostly around the local city Vientiane. Had the chain come off once on a rough unmade road, and it gets a bit grumpy and hot in traffic, and sometimes hard to get neutral, but apart from that its been good so far. I have fitted some cheap LED spots. Now its rainy season in Vientiane, Laos + we had a petrol shortage, when the cooler dry season starts I hope to do some longer rides. cheers |
