Rim Strips, new Tubes
Noob question, but haven't had 'em off the bike yet.
I'm anticipating changing the tires out on the Brozz this winter. With the spoked wheels, am I correct in assuming they need rim strips installed? Do they come with rim strips, and is that something that needs changed with every tire/tube change? Also, any links to correct strips and tubes is appreciated. I like to have everything on hand when starting a project. Should I go with a heavier duty tube? I've read the China tubes aren't so hot, what brands do you guys prefer? |

At least my chinese enduro, came with rim strips. Some people change the rim strips every time they change the tyres some don't. For the price is better to change them.
About the tubes, yes the chinese ones aren't the greatest but they are not that bad either. But it's always nice to change them for heavy duty ones. |

I usually have my tires installed at a local shop I trust and ask them their opinion on whether the rim strips need changing. Oddly they don't usually try to sell me a new one.
