2000's Yamoto 200GY parts
Hello all, I am looking for a speedo cable, chain guard and rear sprocket for my rebuild. The existing cable was 38 inches so at least that long. I currently have a 17/56 sprocket set up but want to do 17/42 or 17/46. I am trying to get higher speeds vs. low end power and speed. I have found a "CA007005" cable through china-parts-limited-2006 that is the correct one but they are located in the UK and won't ship to the U.S. Any help would be appreciated.

I typed "dirt bike speedometer cable" into eBay and got a few results. Any time you wish to search eBay for such things, keep your search terms very generic. Also, get creative with the descriptions, since often the sellers don't know the north American terms for parts.

Just checked what i have, the one off my bike is 32.5" end to end. Has one square end and one slotted end(for the inner cable) and about a 10mm threaded coupler on both ende of the outer cable.

I found a parts supplier! china-parts.co.uk
I ordered the speedo cable from them we will see how it works out. I ordered a chain guard from eBay and received it already. It was a direct fit but constructed of plastic so I'm not to impressed. I ordered a rear 42T sprocket (JT269) that fit and I got 62mph at 9K rpm's. I ordered a 18T front and am going to try to get 62-65 mph with lower rpm's. So far so good... I will update once I get the speedo cable and front sprocket installed. |
