How many 2015 RX3?
How many were originally sold? Anyone know. I'm just trying to grasp the percentages of engine issue compared to the entire batch.

Joe Berk has stated that sales figures are not disclosed by CSC.
We probably won't get a definitive number. If we knew how many containers were received in each of the first two shipments, we could get a pretty close estimate. To hazard a guess, it is far less than 1,000 units. Probably more like 500, but I am willing to be proven wrong. jb

CSC might not be disclosing sales figures any more. However, I seem to remember being told that 200 RX3 bikes were sent in the 2015 shipment.
Of the 200 bikes sold, I can only remember two problem engines. One motor was run too hard during the engine break-in period. Detours has an engine which somehow ingested a small piece of metal. Zongshen builds excellent engines. I am not concerned about having problems with the motor in my RX3 motorcycle.

I performed the "run-in" by the book, and documented all my oil changes, more than recommended. To say the least, I am disappointed, but am willing to give CSC an opportunity to remedy the problem. If this were one of my BMWs, the dealer would be blaming me for any problems. jb

Approximately 100 bikes fit in a container, and they received an additional container of just spare parts and accessories. Which arrived first. Less customs clearance. Plus remember Container Watch 2015... with the port labor issues.
If I recall correctly, every one was anxiously waiting on one of the two containers. This 2016 shipment seemed to be exactly the same, with different colors spread out in two different containers. |

I remember 98 per container... but that could have been import dirt bikes. If it's only 44, then the RX3s must come mostly assembled.

I have seen a few with engine issues. I was just curious. I'm a technician and fabricator. If at some point it needs a transplant I'm sure I can fit something else. I'm hoping the ownership will go smoothly.
