Neat theme song for the Ural.

Catchy tune!
I'll definitely be checking out the 2014's at the bike show when it comes through in January. Always loved the Ural's since the first time I saw one. |

I wonder why they don't sell two wheelers anymore.

Not sure, but I'm guessing it's profit driven... I don't think they sold that many of the solo models, especially compared to the hacks. I've only ever seen one solo for sale used in my neck of the woods, and it was listed for a looong time.

Interesting.
It seems that the two wheeler would be a viable alternative for a person looking for an older BMW Boxer. Maybe an older BMW cost the same as a newer Ural? I bet that was it. Kind of like the higher priced Chinese bikes costing more than a used version of the Japanese bike it was cloned from?

They still have the solo listed for their 2013 model run.
http://www.imz-ural.com/2013-ural-solo-st/ They have a bunch of models listed for 2013 (8) and only 3 for the 2014 run. Guessing that they are either trying to streamline production, or will maybe be adding more machines later in the model year? |

Love it! Although, something about the CJ750 underdog appeals to me.

There are a few modern classics to lust over nowadays, depending on your budget.
The new cafe Enfield ($$), the Ducati Sport Classic ($$$$$), the Guzzi V7 ($$$), the Urals ($$). Maybe a few others I'm not remembering. Any Harley I suppose....($$$$).
