April Ride in Idaho
The weather was beautiful this weekend, so I took a ride over towards the border with Wyoming. I stopped to pose my Zong in front of Grand Teton Peak. Grand Teton Peak is 13,770 feet above sea level, and is located north of Jackson, Wyoming. In this photo Grand Teton Peak is located on the horizon directly above the fence post which is located over the Zong's headlight.
Here's a closeup photograph of Grand Teton Peak. Turning south, I rode to the north shore of the Blackfoot Reservoir. I then rode along the eastern edge of the reservoir. Rising to higher elevations, I discovered a fallen tree blocking the road. Before heading around the tree through the brush on the left, I folded my Ken Sean mirrors. Here's a photograph on the other side of the tree, showing the folded mirrors from the front of the bike. Climbing higher, I was eventually blocked by lingering snow and fallen timber. Therefore, I turned around and headed home following the Blackfoot River. I kept the mirrors folded inward until I reached the pavement. Here are a few more photographs showing my Ken Sean mirrors in the folded position. It is always fun to get the Zong a little muddy in the early riding season. Spud

I love it Spud!
Looks like a great day to ride, cool and no dust. When you took Roger and I there the only shade was under my bike! I can't wait to get out there again!

Thank you, Doc. As you can see, there was still a lot of ice on the lake, and the snow at higher elevations forced me to descend. However, the temperatures were great; it was a wonderful day to ride.

Was it windy there this weekend? It's been blowing up to and over 30 MPH here since Saturday...
Doesn't stop me though.

The high temperature reached 75 degrees Fahrenheit. It was a beautiful day for an extended, springtime ride. Spud

Thank you, Pliskin. When you have time, please post a ride report from Oz. I always enjoy seeing your yellow Zong in its native habitat.

Haven't done any riding lately. :( It's been a while since I explored new areas. But once I do will post pics.
