Sounds as if your mixture is too weak. The larger main jet just takes care of the last quarter and wide open throttle conditions. The idle and mid-range are still too weak, specially with a pod type filter. Try turning the idle mixture screw to richer, an eighth to a quarter of a turn at the time. This should improve starting, warm up and idling. You can follow this by moving the needle one or two notches up by moving the circlip one or more grooves downwards. This should improve pick-up and mid-range.
