Winter is finally breaking here in New England... I got out with the Pitster Pro XTR250 today. This time in the the real kind of dirt, as opposed to the frozen kind on the last run

Don't forget to check your spokes
Especially on a new bike or rims.....I'm running the Pitster in a NETRA hare scramble on the 14th and starting to get it ready. With ~200 miles on the clock thought it would be a good idea to do a spoke check. I found several significantly loose front and rear. (If you're interested, the XTR 21/18 has 6mm front and 7mm rear spoke caps) Here's a clear and concise video if you're unfamiliar with how to do this:
