I remember them from the early days of Chinariders! That was when most all Chinese dual-sports looked very much the same

they are good looking bikes. i used to be a Gio dealer in the 90s to 2008 sold 128 bikes and atvs, and pissed 127 people off..lol no after the first 6 motors blew i started changing the factory mazola oil to 15-40 diesal oil. no motor problems after that. main problems were with CDIs. burning out when people boosted them with there cars and trucks. like to find some Parts for this SUNL . any ideas.. clutch and brake levers are the main things.

I have a Roketa and a Lifan that are quite similar to your bike. I bought generic levers on eBay for mine.

i did a lot of research . the motor is a clone to a late 70s Honda 185 .. Honda sold the dies to the motor to these Chinese factories. who built thousands of them and used different names and plastic on them.but they never made too many parts for them. but i found levers kickstarter and a carb on amazon.

I just recently bought one that was broken. It's running a lifan 200cc motor. The thing won't start at all. I think the timing is off because there is serious blowback from the carb whenever I try to start it, or the engine is getting bogged down. Any help would be amazing.
It's a 2006 GY200-1 Again I think it's timing but I don't even know how to adjust that |

Timing doesn't usually change, unless there's an issue with the flywheel key shearing off, like above. I'd verify the carb is clean, but before that, drain the float bowl, and see how it runs on carb cleaner. Is it OHC or ohv?

my money would be on the rings are shot or stuck.... thats how i bought my bike, it would fart thru the intake when trying to start... did a compression test, found it at 50psi... after a new piston and rings and a honing of the bore it shot up to 180psi... and ran like a top...

Valves may need adjusting. A compression check would be the first thing i would do. If the compression is still low after adjusting the valve then more than likely bad rings.

My X-moto GY200 was of the same ilk. Bike just ran and ran and ran. Never any real issues. The best part of those early bikes??? The absolute best rear rack I've ever used. How come no one can make a rack like that (with a backstop and plenty of bungee mounts) anymore????

I strapped a plastic milk crate to it. Redneck as the day is long, but it was sturdy, stayed put and held a small ice chest.
