Zongshen gy200 starting
One simple question (I'm stupid)
Do I need to hold the clutch when starting gy200 on button(w/battery)

Depending on the bike, it might try to start the engine even if it is in gear ready to cruise... be safe and hold that clutch lever when starting a bike, I don't think I have seen a Chinese made motorcycle made with a "Neutral/Clutch Lever/Side Stand Safety Switch" attached to them... it's easy for you to start it in gear and launch/tip over the bike

Ask me how I know...in fact a few short months ago Azhule probably replied to a similar post I left.
My TBR7 loves loves loves to give a FALSE NEUTRAL - green light and all. I've had my bike lurch on me during 2 starts, one which put me on my A$$, thank god it was grass, no damage to me or the bike. After taking my MSF course a few short months ago... I am now a mindless drone on any bike I mount. CLUTCH AND FRONT BRAKE.. no matter what. |
