2008 Roketa RKM-200E5 specs.
i'm researching the 2008 Roketa RKM-200E5 and i'm seeing different specs for it. one site says 16.1 hp at 8,000 rpms and another says 15.4 at 9,500 rpms and there the same model. are they just guessing according to weigh or is 1 better than the other?

guessing/optimism (i.e. 85 mph top speeds, 100mpg)

It may depend on whether it's OHC or Pushrod

I am still in debate with the quality of the OHC motor. Even the Lifan seems to have small passages for crucial motor oiling to the camshaft. There have been some claims to camshafts seizing, a small particulate plugging the feed line could and would cause an issue. |

If you're asking about overall speed of the bike, that is something determined more by gearing than the engine RPM's. Either could be geared to perform similarly. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm certainly no exert.

I have two pushrod motors, and one has had its issues, and it was with the cam. With proper service, both are excellent motors.
The pushrod motor is likely to have more torque down low, where the OHC motor is likely to have higher top end HP. The best motor for torque would be a 169 with a pushrod, with its longer rod-angle to stroke ratio. Where the 163 with an OHC would have the best high RPM performance. The sad part is that we are only talking about a few foot lbs of torque, not alot. Speed is going to be determined by alot of factors. GVW, Gear ratio. Never Dyno'd or had an intrest in it. If you look at the motor, it is easy to ID a pushrod vs an OHC. The OHC has a large silver cover on the side of the head that will likely say "OHC". Also, it appears to have 2 large bolts in the top of the valve cover, one in the front, the other in the rear. Want to link the page to the company, might make it easier on the rest of us.. |

Youpa, not sure what you are asking. The power band is the range of rpm that the engine makes the most power.
