North Carolina Once More
I make this trip 5 or 6 times from May to October.
Not in Florida anymore....it's about a 10 hour drive. Cabin in the mountains: And a welcoming committee: Much more fun than riding FL. jb

Don't bring them scorpions up here!
Western NC is where I stay. I run the BRP and the forest service roads around the area. They are not as well grommed as some would have you think. I also roam the northern GA and eastern TN. I haven't found much good riding around my are in upstate SC. |

I've never seen one in 40 years of traveling around WNC, but I have seen dozens around FLA and southern GA. I'm not saying they're not in NC. I just haven't seen them. I guess there's a lot more hiding areas around NC.
