Hi everyone. New hellcat 125 owner from nor cal
Hey new hellcat owner here. I've owned it for about a month and freaking love it. Did the usual mods so far. Tons of loctight, grom axles, drilled jets, bevelled the isolater to match the carb, opened stock pipe & airbox a bit, cut some of the rear fender and a bunch of stickers!
I just ordered a pz27 carb, 26mm intake/isolater, 17t front sprocket(stock 16t) and carbon muffler so it should be running real good soon.

What bit sizes did you use to drill jets on pz25?

@flhellcat:
I don't remember what drill bit size. I bought a tiny set from harbor freight and just went up 2 sizes from the one that fit inside the hole. I left the pilot alone (32) since it idles/starts with no choke. The main was 88 now it matches a 95 jet from another carb of mine. It was better but I really noticed some pick-up after drilling the airbox ALOT.

When the new parts/later mods installed I will be posting step by step pics (in the mods section) for any new members that may have any questions about these bikes.

Thanks for the info.
When it gets a little cooler here, I'll start tinkering again. |
