Hawk 250 rear wheel seals
Hey all, my rear wheel likes to cry like a lil bby at slow speeds when coming to a stop and leaving one.
Pretty sure it's the bearing(s) in the wheel as I've checked pretty much everything else. I'd rather just completely replace everything when I get in there but ran into some trouble with the correct measurements. I was about to order the CSC TT250s bearings and seals, seemed to match OEM but then I watched this guy - Around 6 minutes in he does a demonstration with the oem seals showing they're a bit too loose, and he recommends switching the brake side seal with non OEM measurements to correct the issue. So just curious if anyone knows for sure if the TT250 measurements : 25X47X10 28x42x7 or this guy's suggestion: Brake side CORRECT seal measures 25mm x 47mm x 8mm Chain and sprocket side CORRECT seal measures 29mm x 42mm x 7mm are correct? I searched on here but newest info was 2019? I have a 2022, curious if anyone knows if this is still an issue or has been addressed? |

The TT250 rear wheel seals work perfect. I've used them and can confirm that they are better quality and better fit than the OEM Hawk rear wheel seals. I can't confirm the bearings as I used Japanese Nachi bearings in my rear wheel hub.
