Anything new in 2024
Hey all,
I was wondering if there is any news of new bikes 250 or larger in the works for 2024? I have a Lifan KPX 250 that I have done pretty much everything I can do to it, but just not enough power. |

Hey Dan. Welcome back!
As I recall you wanted a service backed vehicle, which heavily influenced your original choice (the KPR). The 300cc and 450cc Chinese bikes are not street legal. 250 is kind of the top of the class with lights, horn...etc. There are some KLR 650s on Craigslist that would check off the boxes. This would have enough power, and they've got a great durability record. There's a nice looking 2018 with under 8000 miles on it at Reno's. They have it listed at $4600 I see another one (2016) up in Grand Island with 4200 miles on it for $3800 from a private seller. That one has lots of accessories. I think it will go quick.

the CFMoto 450MT is the hot topic /unicorn candidate for 2024.
The himmy 452, triumph 400 X and KTM 390 are filling out the field above 300cc. Used Suzuki DRZ400 and DR650 along with the KLR650 could be the used bike segment options... |
