Swingarm Choices
It seems like an upgraded swingarm is on most grom clone owners’ wish list. There are a bunch of options out there. I’ve pretty much decided on a Kepspeed swingarm, mainly because of the needle bearings at the pivot point.
Here are my questions: One model has an additional brace. Is it structurally necessary or is it just eye candy and added weight? Kepspeed offers two lengths: stock and 6cm longer. Is there any advantage to 6cm added length? I know that when you add length, it helps with launch, but you add to the turning radius. I know, I’m adding a precision swingarm to a not so precise frame, but it is what it is. Tell me what your thoughts are! Enjoy the Ride!

Kepspeed has an amazing reputation for quality construction and materials, so to be perfectly honest even a 190 swapped build with the 214cc head kit would be hard pressed to stress the swingarm enough to really " need" the hoop .I'm not saying it's not a good idea if you can afford it , but I really cant see physical stresses realistically requiring it ,so essentially in my opinion yes it's just extra $ for "eye candy".
As far as the additional 6cm length choice, i guess that depends on what your intended use is , it would be not so hot for stunting or roadrace style track use / riding, it would be good for hispeed Zs190 swap straight line use /touring as the addtl length ( along with wheel balancing ) goes a long way to help in taming the potential speed wobble from the 12 inch wheels / tires at higher speeds. Of course that leaves the issue of aesthetics and your likes / dislikes out of the equation , so there is also that . You already nailed the actual important points , the lighter and stronger construction and those juicy sweet needle bearings as opposed to bushings.

Somehow, I knew you would be the one to respond! Here’s the final decision: Thanks again!

Such an amazing looking piece , color me jealous ! Thats really going to add some "bling" factor to the bike in addition to the weight savings and performance increase. I forgot to brag on the Kepspeeds nice chain adjuster set up too ,way better and more accurate than stock , another benefit of no small order .
