Gonna mod the Tank sportbike
Well, gang. It's come down to it. After looking at TONS of used bikes from the Big 4, I didn't come up with the right bike.
So, I'm gonna keep my bike for a little while. Got some new tires coming, because I don't like having a REAR, ENDURO type tire on my FRONT rim. Got some shorty mufflers of the straight pipe variety coming, too. Gonna get some hotter plugs, K&N air filter, bigger jets and a whole lot of shiny black paint! So, I start some mods tomorrow! |

Well, I decided not to go with the paint. I've seen a few bike with truck bed liner all over it...and I like it. So, I'm gonna get a couple of quarts and do all the plastic and the tank.

We need pics. I should rubber coat my sidecovers and tank. That is a great idea.
I have piles or jap streetbike parts so let me know if I can help with something you want to customize. Allen

Hey, Randy. I've been on this forum for about a year or so, I guess. Man, what the heck is going on with your bike??? Did you ever contact Mike at Tank? He took care of my electrical problem with a free part.

Well, here's one pic of it . Not the best...took it with the cell phone. I'll get some better pics up soon:
http://s304.photobucket.com/albums/n...omized%20Tank/ All the plastic and tank is done in Rhino bedliner. The fairings are chopped and I put on shorty mufflers that are straight pipes. Also put on new bar end mirrors. I still need to get the new rubber on. Nuff said. olds_cool DON'T BE A SQUIDIOT! |
