Welcome!

180cc?? I've never heard of a horizontal motor that's bigger than 160cc! I can't wait to see your creation. Please take pics and video of the process.

Thanks, it was a 150cc originally then I got the 180cc big bore kit for it. And I originally built it for a pocket bike I had. And I will post pics when I get it. First I got to find out how to post pictures.

BTW, that pic has nothing to do with this thread. I just had to choose a pic to go through the steps.

Which 150 engine did you start with? A yx 150 ?
Weldangrind, they make a 190 cc horizontal 4 valve engine called the Anima from Daytona.
It puts out around 22hp with a good carb & good exhaust as it wants to breathe.
That engine is a beast but I don't know it's reliability in a street bike for longevity.
People are using it their street bikes but they may not be daily drivers.

Dyno run with its baby brother the anima 150

Ha! The "baby brother" is more than twice the size of the CT70!

I was unaware of the four valve head option.

Yeah they made some two valve headed anima ones and they seem to be in demand.
I was going to shell out the $$$ for an anima 190 before I bought the 150.
But I decided not now, having all that power and torque would be nice though.

Posts pics of your ct when it arrives, I'm still looking at getting one also

Well I got my ct70 clone yesterday and put it together and idk but the speedo has to be off or the beast is really faster than my 77 and 76 chevette lmao it says 73mph and its all stock still and if it really goes this fast I might keep this engine on for the winter riding.

Your bike might actually be reading in kph, even if it states 'mph' My TMEC 200 states mph, but is actually kph, even though I have not verified with GPS. However, it would be maxing out at an indicated 80 mph, which I figured was really about 50 mph. My odometer reads in km as well, and is pretty accurate as I had measured the distance to my work using a car odometer, from my driveway to the 'motorcycle parking' at the prison unit I work in, and when I converted the km's, it was pretty much spot on with the miles.

It could just be a coincidence, too, but do check your odometer to see if it is in miles or kilometers. If it is really in kph on a mph speedometer like my enduro, you would be right at 45 mph, which sounds right for a new, tight CT70 125cc clone engine, that is stock.

It's likely to be the phone. Can you try on a computer?

73Kph? That would be more likely.
