Any CT110 clone

Does china make any CT110 clone? If so, anyone in US selling? I remember Vbike in OK sold a street version of something that looks similar to the CT. But they're no longer selling them. I think this would be better for casual trail riding and urban commuting than the GY enduro because the seat height is much lower. Also, the CT weighs half as much. It can park on side walks and close to front door of buildings without drawing too much negative attention.

Honda CT110

I don't directly know the answer but I can say that old Honda 110's are plentiful on CL in my area.

I've considered buying a non-runner and fitting it with a 125cc Lifan type motor but even runners go fairly cheaply.

Just something to look for and consider.

You are lucky that they are plentiful! Maybe that makes the price better than here in Colorado. An OK one goes for $1500, a nice one for $2000. I bought one 16 years ago, that I wish I had kept, for $1000 that was near perfect with only 2000 miles.

FYI, I have checked into the swap for a Lifan or other 140 or 150 engine. You do need an adaptor for the engine mounting bolts...they are different than on the CT70 or C70 (passport/cub).

Because of the cost of a CT90 (even OK) is too much for me, I am looking for a C70 to put an engine in. I may even just go with a 90 semi-auto. I want electric start, so that does limit my options.

Check out TBOLTUSA.com for a variety of engines. They include wiring harnesses (12V if you want) and intake/carb. Also, DRATV.com has the mounting adaptor for the CT90.

Thanks 8) .

Or something like this and a few days polising and painting and some eBay'ing and you're good to go.

Also bear in mind these Hondas are collector's items and WILL go up in value.

It's going to be a little more difficult to find one here in TX, the republic of big trucks and SUV. I definitely want to get one unrestored--cheaper, and drop in a Lifan 140cc. And then hit the highway!

CT's are plentiful where I live as well, although even non-titled versions fetch high prices. Hopefully you can find one for cheap.

Beware of the 140cc engine. Conventional wisdom says that anything over 125cc (in Chinese horizontal engines) need an oil cooler. My preference would be to install a 125 and call it done.

Not sure your part of texas. The lifan is not a direct swap at the ct90 engine mounts are slightly different. Teamcheap made mounts for his, but you can buy them from dratv.com

Dragon, check the Los Angeles CL--I look there all the time and see plenty of the old Hondas for less than $500-$1k or so.

You should get a truck and bring them all to Colorado!

You should get a truck and bring them all to Colorado! OK ones are $1500, Good ones $2000, Excellent original or restored $2500. I rarely see any below $1000...would be non-running.

I search CL Denver all the time for them. There are usually 3-4 though the spring, then usually none.

I am looking for a C70 to use for a swap rather than a CT90, because they are much cheaper to get for a donor bike. Also, I think it would be a shame to replace the wonderful 4-Low, 4-Hi, transmission on a CT90 or 110. That is what makes the model special and so it can go anywhere.

They were quite low back then. I lived there from Jan. 2018 to this past September, but never did really peruse the craiglists from around the various L.A. metro area for bikes. I might get back on for the heck of it and make runs into L.A. to buy some if the prices are right!

Hard to believe that there never was a CT110 clone. Now that the CT125 is being sold in Japan there is hope that it will come to the US. I am definitely interested in one.
