Anyone have one of these

Its just a Desert Demon 250cc ATV.
It looks OK, I may have to go this route if my 250x to 300ex conversion/rebuild goes bad.

http://www.countyimports.com/inc/sdetail/3141

I'd have to lose the blinkers and the mirrors and those tires would have to get replaced ASAP but I like the rest of it.(digital dash)

Looks very similar to mine, apart from the alloy footpegs and anodized engine. And yeh, the tyres are adequate...just. the speed they are quoting seems a little wishful tho. Let me know when/if you get it and how it goes if the 200/300 rebuild gets scrapped.

I'm getting close to having spent 1K on my project ATV and once I buy the new plastic for it I'll have about $1400 in it.I still have a lot of work to do on it since I have just started working on it.
My first priority was my LF200 bike then the atv and I just need the side panels on my bike and I am very happy with how it came out.

I'm interested in seeing if I can rebuild a pile of used/new honda parts (basically a train wreck) into a decent quad or if it would have been better to try a chinese atv.Kind of an experiment for me.

Like I've posted on another atv forum, you'll see the after (finished) pics first then the before pics so you can see just how much work I had to do.
But not a single picture until its done.

Ya.

Ambassador is right - that looks badass!

Well, except for the mirrors.

I never cease to be amazed at how stupid advertising types think we are. Check out the picture halfway down the page... the tires are caked with thick, wet mud but the bodywork is spotless ... and so is the MODEL sitting on the quad, right down to her pretty white tennis shoes.

The mirrors & turn signals are starting to be a requirement in some States in The USA to ride from trail to trail on the side of the road. As Culcune mentioned they can be registered to ride on the road also. Yes from State to State in this country you will see some pretty weird laws about atv's & dirt bikes.

got anything better to do with your time?

It cracks me up how much some people pick things apart. I have taken a look. Its obvious that you are a competetor and are trying to do what most dealers do and bad mouth the competition. So what if the lady has white shoes. shes hot. So what. I see the pic as a basic idea of how big the bike is compared to an adult sitting on it. But of course you missed the other pics showing the atv doing doughnuts on the beach by the other rider. Maybe you should take thier advice in advertising. My guess is you do not like online competition because they give you a run for thier money.

Maybe she rode slow thru the mud so as not to disturb the natural inhabitants.

Or maybe not.

Oh man I rode my wifes raptor today WOW that thing begs to have the throttle pegged, so I did, what fun.

I pounded her lf200 today as well, I'll be looking for broken welds and stuff sunday. it ran fine and I think it will be fine.

Who are you directing this to? XavierOnasis is not a dealer, or is he?

Again, watch the video, he's riding a Suzuki... Who cares about the chick, she should have some gear on and NOT be riding in tennis shoes... Looks to me like an attempt at selling a quad through sex appeal, when was the last time you saw a girl riding around on the beach with no gear on, (that didn't wreck into something)??? China can't even come up with a decent name for a bike? Future advertising should be quite amusing...

It does say SUZUKI on it but I dont think its actually a suzuki I dont think suzuki would put those tires on one of their atv's.

That guy does NOT know how to ride a quad.

That little stream crossing would have been long behind me after seeing it for a few seconds, size it up, down shift and GO, maybe get a little air from that tiny hill.
