Zongshen Starter issue!!!
i finally got my starter working the brushes where stuck and not engaging well i got them freed up and got the starter working again well i noticed when i use it it sounds like its just spinning freely so i popped off the left case cover and everything is all lined up but i noticed the way the starter is spinning its is spinning the opposite direction and would cause the flywheel/magneto to spin clockwise instead of spinning counterclockwise and is has me puzzled! so i neeed some wise knowledge so i can get it fixed im starting to get tired of kicking the bike over and would be nice to have my electric start!

You must have reversed some electrical wiring somewhere, MM.

I'm glad you got the problem fixed, MM.
Perhaps the previous owner switched something around? I doubt the starter motor was not assembled properly at the factory. Spud
