Got our Lifan's registered in CT
We got got our 2 new Lifan's registered in Connecticut this past weekend. The first trip to the DMV ended with me being told to leave my name and number and they would call me. I was told that every manufacturer has to be registered with every state and they needed to check on Lifan. I called Lifan and they said CT and CA are not going to work. I called my dealer in MA and he placed a call to Lifan. I received a call later in the week from DMV saying that I could come back.
We went for our first ride yesterday and it was great. A little cold but great! |

Congrats & welcome to the site!
That's really cool that you were able to get them licensed without lots of hassle...and says a lot that the dealer went to bat for you. Oh yeah, we LOOOOOOVE pics!

Cheyenne,
Glad to hear you got your bikes through the CT DMV. I registered my last china bike in CT about 6 Months ago... at that time they made a phone call (to supposedly check on the MSO and someone said ok.. Perhaps they've changed their procedure? Now they make you wait for a call? unfortunately they keep it a mystery until you wait at least 30 minutes in line. lol.. Happy Trails!! NET
