Please help! New TBR7 key won't turn
Hi I'm new to motorcycles. I haven't put gas in maybe that's why? It turns but it's like some safety thing prevents it. I got it from Superior Motorsports which I later seen has horrible reviews. I hope I can get it running. I paid for the assembly n shit I know I gotta put real oil in. It's late I'm gonna try to work with it tomorrow, I'll appreciate any replies.

Move the handlebars side to side a bit while turning.
There is a locking mechanism on most of these bikes where the key gets tricky to turn if it is in the handle bar lock position.

TBR7 Doesn't have a fork lock.
Mine was rough at first, try inserting the key when it's flipped around. DO NOT use wd-40 in it under any circumstance. It has some plastics on the inside that will give out eventually. If you need to lube it up, use some graphite powder. Mine works like a charm after doing that. Also, see if the key works on your gas tank. It's possible they sent you the wrong keys. |

Maybe they sent the wrong keys?
I had an ignition switch go bad on my China bike. It would short out while riding, and I'd have to jiggle it a little to get it working. That's a frustrating and potentially dangerous situation, so I ordered a replacement. Turns out it was an exact clone of the one used by Honda, so I ordered a genuine Honda one made in Japan. It was about $30 on eBay instead of $9 for the Chinese version. It works great, nice and smooth, and came with a pair of Honda keys. |
