Checklist before you ride?
I am new to riding Chinese dual sports, and I was wondering, what are some of the major things you look at before riding?
Could you recommend a checklist to check before my afternoon rides? Also my bikes does not have tool box, or tool bag. Do you know where I can get one or both? :?:

I just do the basics every few days or on the weekends, I check the bolts and plug,And look for any rubber holders that may be rotted or cracked...My coil was hanging down the other day 8O . I check all the lights and and fuel level and oil. But I don't ride my bike a lot...Some of the guys who commute with thiers may have a bigger list.

I carry some tools in my trunk. Also check the oil, gas(don't want to run out), tires for cuts and air pressure, wheels for loose spokes, chain slack, lights are working, horn, loose bolts.
Carry and adjustble wrench, screwdrivers, tape, cable ties, a ratchet with 8,10,12,14 mm sockets at a minimum. That will get you by for most quick fixes. I made a trunk from wal-mart supplies for about $20. You can find nice ones for about $50. Also if just want a toolbag then search for a fender mounted one for a jap dirtbike. It will easily hold the above tools. I think it about time to make a PreRide Checklist/things to carry sticky. Allen
