Amazon dark green sprocket cush studs ? TBR7 gold chain ?
I will be changing sprockets on my newly aquired TBR7D, and from what I gather here, and on a Facebook group, the TBR7 tends to shear sprocket studs. A guy on the Facebook group posted these studs https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N6...OWP300U&psc=1#
They are priced nice, but would these be better than stock ? The guy said he had 2,000 miles on a set, but I figure some, or possibly most Hawks, and TBR7 bikes don't ever shear the stock ones. What are your thoughts on these studs ? The bike has under 500 showing on the odometer, and has a gold chain, which was evidently stock on the bike. Is this chain any better than the chains that come on the bikes that should be replaced almost immediately ? Thanks |

Those are about the same quality you have already. Pick up Honda studs. Megadan has the parts number listed in the sticky at the top of the dual spot section.

Anything with that weird dark green coating is purest Chineseium. I don't even know what that coating is, but I have only ever seen it on shitty cheese soft fasteners from Chinese products. For what it's worth I really wouldn't consider it a selling point. I am genuinely curious what the heck it is, though. Chemically, I mean, other than an easy identifier of crapness. Some kind of paint?
