Muffler recycling.
I bought one of those exhaust setups that didn't fit my Templar. Tried the muffler and it seemed like it was louder. Swapped the stock one back on. So the new one was laying around. Helene came and put us out in the RV. Comfy enough. Generator kind of pops through the exhaust though and it's louder than I'd like. A thought occurred darned if the pipe wasn't the exact diameter so I could just stick it on there. Made a BIG difference. I'll probably end up swapping it back onto the bike but in the meantime it stays. If it looks stupid but it works, then it ain't stupid. Right? The design of the generator exhaust has always struck me as begging to be modified anyway. One or another of the mufflers I think will have a permanent home after I redo the piping to tuck it back up under the coach.

It's probably ok to use as a second muffler in series with a factory muffler.

Looks pretty cool.
Probably a bit quieter as well. Nice!
