Hawk 250 boggy carb issue
Have the aftermarket P30 carb, new bike runs good except when about mid throttle I’ll be riding along and back the throttle a bit to coast/slow down for a second then give it gas again and it Boggs/hesitates then catches back up.
Any idea would be helpful. Running 140/35 jets, clip on second notch up on needle. |

You can read your spark plug. The difference between rich and lean should be detectable. This will give you a clue whether you need to rejet or change needle shim/setting.
There are dozens of resources with pics on the web. Here is one. https://www.tuningmatters.com/how-to...retor-setting/ |

That works for your main jet after a WOT run. Won't diagnose a mid throttle stumble.

raise the needle by moving the clip down one notch.
