I do, it works great right out of the box unlike the carb models. It's a lot like modern efi cars vs older carb cars, hassle free, no choke to set during warmup or need to manually open the throttle ect, just starts and runs without the bs. Other than that I believe the forks are an upgrade and the gauge cluster is a little nicer. I believe those are the only real differences.

FYI, a carburetor can be cleaned and adjusted, whereas a failed EFI module or other parts of an EFI system can be puzzling, or difficult to diagnose/fix. Also EFI is more likely to fail catastrophically, stranding you on the highway somewhere. Carry an extra pump and all of the tools to replace it???
That said, a working carburetor can fail, and it might need cleaning, or jetting. But you will get home to fix it. Jets cost under $5. Low tech has its advantages. |

Thats a bit much... Pages on pages of tuning questions is more accurate, and that has more to do with newbies and inexperienced people who.have never touched a carb before. Once you get the jetting right, you really don't have to mess with it too much unless you plan to ride year round in weather extremes or with drastic altitude changes. I also call BS on the no failures with the efi. The computer itself may not have issues, but I have seen more than a few bad sensors and an injector issue. If I had to choose between a DLX and a TT250, I would take the TT250 every single time.

I chose a Brozz 250, it's pretty much a dlx with a carb. I've been let down by EFI before on a 4 wheeler and it was not a good time at all. Also EFI would require a power commander to make tweaks where as a carb can easily be jetted and modded.

I bought the carbureted model specifically because I hate electrical problems , no way trust a Chinese computer and a new carb is 28 bucks 10 bucks for a set of 15 different jets.

I don't know the fuel pressure differences but if you were to remove the tbody and install the carb at the proper fuel pressure the efi system wouldn't care and it would run still, basically you would only be using the electronics for the timing side of things.

Most of them run fine. Convenient to be sure. High tech or low tech... your choice! Old school just monitors fuel and spark. EFI adds many wildcards. |

Lots of unwarranted fear of the efi from the carb crowd. Yet the carb crowd already had to tune, replace and repair the factory carb that didn't even run right out of the box. The efi guys just hop on and ride as far as tune is concerned.

It didn't run right out of the box to pass EPA.
