Tbr7 on it's way
Hey everyone long time reader first time posting. So i finally took the jump and ordered a bike. After searching all night I'm coming at a stop on ordering some things to do the mods as soon as the bike arrives. I wanna ride it when it gets here haha. So I'm in NH Google says 1000ft for elevation so I'm thinking a 110-120 jet replacement I could be wrong. Should I buy a carb and mod that or take apart the one on the bike? If anyone has active links and listings of the parts needed I would greatly appreciate it. Looked on motochesse website along with the tbr7 post and a lot of links are dead. I know I would like to source a carb kit so I can just buy it all at once, I might need to lower the bike as I have a 29in maybe inseam probably smaller. I'm a short dude haha. I'll make a list so I stop rambling the quarantine has me going crazy. Thanks everyone.
1. Carb and or carb kit 2. Exhaust 3. Shocks? Maybe 4. Sprocket change may do that later if I determine high end isn't enough. 5. Gauge cluster saw one with USB and digital would like to track that down. 6. Any other mods I should do my brains mush been up way too long lately lol. Recommend away and I'll start ordering. Again thanks everyone. |

Welcome Aboard! Just tune the stock carb and change out the exhaust. 110-115 main will probably do for your elevation.

the iridium plug livened up my tbr7 a fair amount.. some say you should use a non resistor plug saying that it could cause premature coil failure.......others just use the iridium plug....
if you can weld you can also just gut the cat and put a plate over the secondary air system on the exhaust.... i am currently running a stock exhaust but am changing to an aftermarket (in the garage now) to allow it to breath... air in air out as they say...
