i am tired!
1,100 mile round trip with stop and go fuel and
fast food drive thru. 4am-10:30pm, and my son tagged along!
that alone was worth it.

my coworkers prolly think i am showing off this morn
at work but when i got home i dropped like a ton of bricks
and work begins at 7am.
i will get to riding it this weekend.

the dealership(jandjcycle.com) is better than any in nashville area!
huge inventory with 2k-50k range. tip top notch place here!
its very clean and the bikes in there make you drool!

the initial quality of the bike is well above the chondas for sure.
best way i can describe it... its a 90's jap quality with modern style.
but all i did was start it up and the fuel inj is so nice to have!
very nice idle and sounds/revs like 2017 cb300 with this
250cc having stainless exhaust throughout.
ya'll got any questions for me?

new helmet matches bike

as you can see, i am still 'parading' this around at lunch.
j&j gave me 10% discount on it. bell qualifier $105 OTD
i saw it and had to have it, since it matches so well.
i just hope this bike is reliable as it looks....

Nice looking helmet. I wouldn't be too concerned with reliability. I've seen a few while searching that were over 10 years old and still running great. I ran across a 2008 GV250 that had just over 180,000 miles and still running. I'm like that can't be right until I messaged the guy and confirmed it. That explained the $250 price tag. Bike still looked great but no title.

this weekend is most likely when i give her a good run. i do have ins at $75 per yr with progressive and temp tags from dealer. i did ride around my townhome complex a bit once i got her off the truck last night. i have to say it runs pretty good without misfire or shudder. starts without issue. it feels solid and heavy. i just now peered into the parts world, and oh boy, there are tons of websites to explore. like: https://www.hyosungwholesale.com/collections/gd250n

I would guess they are not specing our american formulated 91 rm/2, likely they are recommending 91 RON wich is like like our 87. But since it doesn't specify its hard to say for sure. Not sure how bad your prices are down there but from 87 to 91 it's like 30 cents and 93 is like 70 cents more a gallon.

I would imagine most of the parts manufactured even in ching should be ok for e10 now. It was mostly rubber gas lines and some older rubber o-rigns that were damaged from the 90's.

Do you have any stations with "recreation gas" close by, its usually like 90 no E. We just got one but its like 3.80 a gallon lol. Glad the storm has a small tank.

duck9191 is correct. You will be fine with 87 octane. I would try to fine ethanol free gas is possible. If not add sta-bil marine. This will keep the moisture out of the gas and keep the tank from rusting. Ethanol absorbs moisture.

i guess the answer is no ethanol, even if your the slightest bit paranoid?
this has prolly been asked million times but i assume, if in doubt, always use
ethanol free.
its just a pain to travel 15 min in a direction i never go in order to can up the good stuff, or correctly measure out the additive each fill up....its one of those 'i told you so' stories if i put ethanol in it. was just hoping it wasnt such an issue with a 17' model and being fuel inj, and wishing technology has improved without me knowing it has...

I usually try to avoid using ethanol fuel but sometimes you have no choice if your out on the road and none available. If I do use gas with ethanol I'll usually fill it up with ethanol free fuel before going home. The newer bikes should be okay. My concern is I live in a high humidity climate and have seen what ethanol can do to boat fuel tanks and lines. That stuff will turn to sludge. Fuel lines look like clogged arteries. If you live in a low humidity climate you will probably never have any problems.
