Zongshen factory video
wow didn't know zongshen was such a big name..
the factory and the quality manufacturing is very impressive in the comments of the video the wholesaler ,MartinRacingPerf , said this --Harley, Honda, all buy from them --Zongshen works with Harley Davidson, Vespa, and is making engines for Honda lawn mowers now? If you look at the NEW American Made Harley 2011 they have a joint venture with Zongshen and use some of their parts just interesting little tidbit official factory/company video |

I've seen those videos before, SkiBum. Indeed, Zongshen International is a very large corporation, and it makes excellent products. I am very pleased with my Zongshen 200GY-2 motorcycle, which I have ridden almost 56,000 miles.

I've seen those vids in the past as well, but that was before I was familiar with Lean / Kaizen manufacturing. It was a humbling experience for me to learn about the concepts, and the fact that "good enough" never is. Kaizen thinking is always striving to eliminate waste (in manufacturing, for example), and each improvement becomes the "new normal", and must be subsequently targeted for improved efficiency.
To say that your organization practices Lean thinking is one thing, but something else entirely to maintain it. IMHO, it is the reason that Japan developed such dominant auto manufacturers in the 80's.

Those are excellent videos and they have an impressive operation. I think I have seen some of them before, maybe on MCM?

Resistance isn't futile. It's voltage divided by current.

I do miss our beloved, late, Brother Phil Hall.
I am so very happy Phil accepted Jesus Christ as Lord before he passed away. I look forward to meeting my Brother Phil in heaven. Phil was a kind, honest gentleman, and we miss him very much on these forums. Before he went home to heaven, Phil shared the Wisecarver's song with us. I also enjoy that song very much.

Phil was in time:-)
I enjoy his shirt too, and wear it for special occasions, such as when visiting Spud and riding his Zong.
