Have you used onX for trail riding?

I'm aware of the onX apps for back country mapping purposes but I've never used it, and it's not free to try. I'm eager to explore trails in my area but I really don't know where I can and can't go. Is this app worth it?

I have used it this year on a new hunting lease. I think it'd be great for trail riding.

I use REVER, and they have a free version that works pretty good, you might want to give it a try

Avenza maps is a free GPS app that is good for smart phones. You can download topographical and street maps to it. They even had a state forest map file exactly the same as the one I bought for $15 from the state.

I have used the onX app for backcountry mapping purposes before, and I can say that it is definitely worth it. The app provides detailed maps of trails, public lands, and private lands that are open to the public. This can be incredibly helpful in determining where you can and cannot go, and it can also help you discover new trails and areas to explore.Regarding the cost, it is true that the app is not free...
