You are going to have to explain the different classes for me. Also it says possible dual sport ride. Is that still in the works?
Thanks for posting it. Allen

The classes are for the enduro race, dont sweat them unless you are planning to race.
The DS is ON, that's why I posted it! |

Good. I would need to be in the slow poke class if I was to race. I just want to ride and be able to stop if I want too.
I am off that weekend so what do I need to do to be prepared. I have the approved S/A installed already. I think I will save my trakmaster for this ride. Is the DS ride going to be all on the private land too or will it be travelling off with some public roads being used? I want to see if my friend wants to bring his son and their XRs. Allen

You really need to be street legal. Chances are it will include some public roadways. I would not suggest it for kids, I doubt it would be allowed.
There will be a junior enduro for the kids, also on Saturday. No roads, no road crossings, nice mix of woods trail, 2 track trail and grass track. But, the DS ride will be still out then... You could run the enduro if you wanted to. To stay out of the way, ask for a late row number. |

Thanks, I will see if he wants to run the enduro. I don't want too.
If anyone in the Atlanta area wants to ride I will be trailering my bike and have room for a couple of more. Allen

Also will I have to become an AMA member for this? It says $45 for registration. That is for the DS too? So the DS ride is on Saturday afternoon? I may just come for the day and that part of the event.
Just need to clarify the details so I am ready. Looks like fun. Allen

That flyer is for the enduro only. Fees for the DS will likely be higher, but they also include fine dining trailside/
The DS ride was just confirmed Wednesday, I havent made the flyer yet, nor have the fees been set. Thats how early you guys are getting the info! I am fairly sure you do have to be an AMA member, the insurance for the event requires it, but I will check on it and let you know. For the Enduro and Junior, AMA membership is required, as well as SETRA if you live in NC-SC-AL-GA-FL areas. |
