Hawk 250 assembly parts
Please help us identify where this hardware goes on the bike. I numbered it for easy reference. Thanks in advance.
Known hardware: 1 = Three of these will be used for the instrument cluster 2 = ? 3 = Instrument cluster mounting 4 = Rubber washer for fairings 5 = ? 6 = ? 7 = Rear brake pivot cotter pin 8 = One of these is used for the tank fairing(the bar behind it, do not use as the one on the tank) 9 = Front fender insert 10 = Washer for your fairings 11 = Tank fairing bolt 12 = Rear brake pedal return 13 = Rear brake light switch 14 = Front fender bolts 15 = Fairing screws Last edited by Ac21; 06-23-2018 at 11:57 AM. |

12 & 13 look like rear brake pedal 4 looks like rubber washer for your fairings and 9 looks like they go on front fender. Always end up with extra bolts nuts and washers, you’ll want to save them if you don’t use locktite. You’ll need them later

#15 #4 #10 plastics screws,hose is for the battery #12 is the brake lever spring,other plastics bolts ,its kinda hard to tell the rest without showing you ,got to watch the videos on them being put together helps too,research research an more research is needed on the bikes,youtube hawk 250 assembley videos watch them all ,i had a few screws left at the end of it all i figure they put some extras in the i think it was like 5 mostly plastics extras

You also tend to get extra hardware, so dont assume you will be using every piece in the bag.
9 looks like extra isolators for the lower headlight tabs, 3 looks to be guage cluster mount isolators. 12 is the brake returnspring. 13 is the rear brake light switch spring

#7 cotter pin is for holding the rear brake pedal? #9 fit nicely on front fender and #14 are its bolts.
ok i was wondering why the battery was making a hissing noise and spilling acid everywhere, i left the cap on, i need to take it off and install the hose. |

6 and 7 are both for the brake pedal. The larger is for the main brake pedal pivot. The smaller one is for the clevis pin that goes through the clevis on the rear master cylinder.

11 looks like a tank fairing bolt but you may have extra bolts. i had a whole cup full of stuff
